We will need to know the weight and dimensions of the load, what the access is like, whether there are power wires close by and if you need transport we need to know the location of pick up and delivery.

This varies based upon the quote you are requiring:
Cranes – weights, dimensions, location, access – any potential restrictions ie power lines
Transport – Weight, dimensions, collection and drop off location, any access issues – ie small gate way

Yes, if we are unable to help over the telephone we are happy to come and do a site inspection to determine the most cost effective way to assist you in your project.

If it’s deemed unnecessary for a site inspection then we will advise you over the phone of any requirements.

We will always ask that access is cleared before we arrive.
The ground will also need to be stable.
If site requires traffic management or permits we are happy to arrange with your local council.

The cost of hiring a crane depends on the crane needed. The type of crane required for the job is generally dependant on the weight of what needs to be lifted, as well as the distance/height.

Yes anything outside of normal time is charged at overtime.

Normal hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30 pm, any work outside of those hours is subject to overtime.

We have a range of Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Telehandlers, Forklifts and other Elevated Work Platform (EWP) equipment available, all of which can be hired without an operator.
We call this ‘Dry Hire’. Cranes can also be hired out on dry hire, however this is at the discretion of management.

Yes, we can do recoveries including; train derailments, fallen containers, breakdowns etc – we are the most versatile transport and crane hire company in Victoria!

We can supply mini-crawler cranes, which are ideal for use in hard to access places and/or confined spaces.
Some can even fit through a standard doorway.

Yes, we have many years of experience in moving site huts of all shapes and sizes.
For oversize loads we can manage all necessary government permits and pilot cars where required.

Yes, we do hire a wide range of forklifts for jobs of any size, either with or without an operator and for both short and long term hire.

Yes, we have a variety of trailers and floats available to assist with the relocation or removal of water tanks of varying sizes.
If you require permits or pilot vehicles, we can arrange and manage it all. If need be, we can also adjust one of our vessel carriers to suit the job.

Yes, our 13T Kato is ideal for steel erection.

Yes we have many specialised trailers and transport equipment, as well as a team with extensive knowledge and experience in oversize transport both locally and Australia-wide.

Our fleet of mini cranes or our 13T Kato are often used for tight access.

We have lifted furniture onto balconies with a variety of equipment. We have cranes with a maximum reach of 45 metres and we have mini cranes or our 13T Kato crane with smaller reaches. We have also used our telehandler with forklift tynes for more difficult situations.

Depending on what you needed to move. The weight, dimensions and what the access is like will determine what Crane you require. We have a large variety of trailers to suit all your needs.

We have in our fleet Genie telehandlers and JLG Telehandlers which are known as a rough terrain forklift. The difference with a telehandler is that it has a telescopic boom. You can also fit a bucket onto the front and it works like a digger. We also have a jib that fits onto it so it can work like a crane.

Our crane crew are covered under an EBA with the CFMEU and in that they are entitled to additional wages if weather is inclement or above 36 degrees. Our transport division will continue as long as it is safe to do so.

Yes our crane division work under a current EBA with CFMEU.
